What is a step-up SIP?
A step-up SIP (also called a top-up SIP) raises your monthly investment by a fixed percentage or amount every year, usually in line with your salary rise. It reaches big goals much faster than a flat SIP.

Common questions
How much should I step up my SIP every year?
Many people use 5% to 10%, close to their yearly salary rise. Even 5% a year adds a lot over 15 years.
Do all mutual funds allow step-up SIP?
Most fund houses and investment apps offer a top-up or step-up option when you set up the SIP. Check with your fund or app.
Is a top-up SIP the same as a step-up SIP?
Yes. Fund houses use both names for a SIP that increases by a set amount or percentage every year.
